    Research

    Dr. Liu’s research focuses on decision making and behavioral biases in an uncertain environment, particularly in betting markets. Her recent research includes gamblers’ behavior and decision making process, development strategies of the Macao gaming industry, and social and economic impacts of the gambling industry. She has published numerous papers in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making and Journal of Gambling Business and Economics, and also in academic journals such as the Journal of Macao Polytechnic Institute and the Journal of Macau Studies. She has presented her papers at more than 20 international conferences all over the world and conducted research projects on tourism and gambling research.
